10-Day US East Coast and Miami Economic Tour from New York

Itinerary
Day 1:New York (49 miles)
Flights can be booked into any of the three major New York City area airports. Those flying in to EWR before 12:00can either take our shuttle to the hotel for some rest or go shopping at Jersey Gardens Mall. Those flying into LGA or JFK before 3:00pm will have the opportunity to tour Flushing, Queens. All who arrive before 4:30pm have the option of joining a Night Tour of the city. Shuttle service will be available from all airports. There will be an additional charge for those who arrive after 10:00pm.
From 4/1/2016, there will be added two pick up places: Flushing and China Town.

Day 2:New York (226 miles)
Today we will spend the day touring New York City, making stops at the Empire State Building. Guests will take a sightseeing cruise tour on the Hudson River, take pictures with the backdrops of Statue of Liberty and Brooklyn Bridge. Furthermore, visit USS Intrepid Sea-Air-Space Museum. In addition, wandering around Wall Street, taking pictures with Trinity Church, New York Stock Exchange and its signature sculpture Charging Bull. If time permit, we will visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Times Square and Madame Tussauds Wax Museum (According to the traffic condition in New York, we may visit the wax museum in Washington D.C. instead of New York Madame Tussauds). In the end of the day, our tour bus will pass by the Fifth Avenue, Rockefeller Center, Ground Zero and so on.
Day 3:New York – Philadelphia – Washington DC (236 miles)
In the morning, guests will be picked up from the specified departure location in New York City. We will begin this tour by driving to Philadelphia, where we will visit National Independence Park to see the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall. Then, we will continue to the U.S. capital of Washington, D.C. to see the exteriors of the U.S. Capitol Building and the White House. We will also be able to visit the National Air and Space Museum, take a Potomac River Cruise, and see the Lincoln Memorial. Our tour will also pass by the Jefferson Memorial, the Vietnam War Memorial, the World War II Memorial, the Korean War Memorial, and the Bureau of Engraving and Painting. We will check into our hotel after dinner.
Day 4:Washington DC – Corning – Niagara Falls (429 miles)
Today, we will drive north to visit the Corning Glass Museum in Corning, NY. We will then continue to Niagara Falls, where we will take the famous Maid of the Mist boat ride (or Jet boat Ride), see the Niagara Falls Adventure Movie, and the Thundering Water Cultural Show. Afterwards, we will be able to choose either to stay in the Falls Park for self-exploration or embark on an in-depth tour that includes visits to Whirlpool State Park and Old Fort Niagara.
Day 5:Niagara Falls – Boston (467 miles)
In the morning, we will drive from Niagara Falls to Boston, MA, where we will spend the day touring this historic city where the American Revolution was born. Stops along our way will include the campuses of Harvard University and MIT, Trinity Church, and much more! In the evening, we will enjoy a delicious Lobster Dinner, a New England favorite.
Day 6:Boston – Miami (1496 miles)
In the morning, we will shop at Quincy Market and go on a Boston Harbor Cruise. Afterwards, we will transfer to the airport for our flight to Miami. Once you arrive at Miami, our tour guide will greet you at the airport and bring you to the hotel. Night tour is available with at least 2 enrolled guests of arrival before 6PM.
Day 7:Miami – Everglades National Park – Miami (118 miles)
In the morning we will visit Everglades National Park, where we will have the chance to take an Airboat Ride. Later in the day we will tour Miami, where we will see the Biltmore Hotel, the Cuban district of Little Havana, and cap things off with a pleasant Biscayne Bay Cruise. After that, we will get to explore the famous Art Deco District in Miami Beach.
Day 8:Miami – Key West – Miami (259 miles)
Today we will tour the city of Key West, FL. This island in the Florida Keys is the southernmost city in the continental United States. It is loved by tourists internationally for its idyllic Caribbean waters, warm and cozy weather, and stretches of white beaches. To get there, we must cross the Seven Mile Bridge. We will have the chance to visit Ernest Hemingway’s House, who was very fond of this area. Then, we will shop for souvenirs on Duval Street and at the Marina Marketplace. We will leave Key West at about 5pm and return to Miami for the night.

Day 9:Miami – Palm Beach – Sunrise – Miami (133 miles)
In the morning we will make our way to the lovely city of Palm Beach, FL. There, we will visit Lion Country Safari, Henry Flagler Museum and Worth Avenue. On our way back to Miami, we’ll make a stop at the Sawgrass Mill Mall for some discount shopping.
Day 10:Miami – Fort Lauderdale (28 miles)
Before being dropped off at the airport, we will be able to spend some free time in the city of Fort Lauderdale, FL. Next, guests will be taken to the Bloomingdale’s for shopping. After the trip, our tour guide will help to arrange the transport to the ferry port or airport. Please see “Departure and Return” for more detailed information regarding pickup and drop-off times and locations. Fort Lauderdale, FL Fort Lauderdale has been called the “Venice of America” due to its large canal system not unlike that in the famous Italian city. It’s amazing beaches, vibrant history, and unique layout make it an extremely popular tourist spot.
Price Includes
Airport pick up (excluded service fee $8/per person) from JFK/LGA/EWR. Complimentary transfer is available between 8:30 and 10:00pm. Outside this time, guests will be charged $120 (first 1-2 guests) and $10 for each additional guest.

If you would like to join the optional activities, please pay the fee in cash to the tour guide. You cannot buy / use the tickets on your own or use City Passes. The tour guide will arrange the tickets for the group.

City passes are not accepted during an escorted tour due to the fact that they do not correspond into the tour schedule. The group entrance tickets provided by tour guides have fast lane and tour guides accompany passengers for activities.
Bus Arrangement: Usually only passengers in the same order will be arranged in the same bus. If you book the tour separately with your friends and you want to sit in the same bus, you need to inform us before departure . Or you may be arranged in different buses.

Customers are held solely responsible for their own travel documents and/or visas if required.

Each hotel room can accommodate no more than 4 guests (adults or children), and existing bedding must be used

Language:

All tours are escorted by professional bi- or multi-lingual tour and/or driver guides (English/Chinese). Depending on the number of passengers booked for a particular departure, tours and/or languages may be combined to operate the tours.

All purchases are subject to re-confirmation within 2-3 business days after booking. Please do not book the airline tickets until you received the confirmation.

• Redemption

Complete operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, is included on your e-ticket. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

The purchase of any travel services represents your acceptance Terms & Conditions set out herein. Please ensure that you read carefully and understand these Terms & Conditions prior to booking.
Booking changes
A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply. Please be noted that we do not allow departure change 48 hours before departure.
Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to Taketours by email or through web mail at Contact Us .
Tour Departure: This tour has 100% guaranteed departure; if the tour is cancelled there will be refund of 120%. Restrictions apply; due to weather conditions, State Emergencies, Airport Closures or anything beyond the control of the tour operator the 120% refund will NOT apply.
Cancellation penalties per person for tours last 5 or more days
Up to 46 days prior to departure – 10% of total purchase amount.
21-45 days prior to departure – 25% of total purchase amount.
8-20 days prior to departure – 50% of total purchase amount.
1-7 days prior to departure – 100% of total purchase amount.
Day of departure or no show – 100% per person.
Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
There is 6% handling fee add-on to the above penalties.
NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of tour.
Itinerary Variations
We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary – we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
Tour Cancellation:
We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, Taketours’ only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.
We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.
