Itinerary

Day 1:New York (37 miles)
Flights can be booked into any of the three major New York City area airports. Guests flying to EWR before 12:00 can either take our shuttle to the hotel for some rest or go shopping at the Jersey Gardens Mall. Those flying into LGA or JFK before 3:00pm will have the opportunity to tour Flushing, Queens. All who arrive before 4:30pm have the option of joining a Night Tour of the city. Shuttle service will be available from all airports. There will be an additional charge for those who arrive after 10:00pm.
From 4/1/2016, there will add another two pick up place: Flushing and China Town.
Flushing, NY This famous and historical New York neighborhood is best known for its flourishing Chinatown area, the second-largest in New York City and the most quickly growing. Today, it is even larger than the Chinatown in Manhattan.
Day 2:New York
Today, we will spend the day touring New York City, visiting some of this city’s most iconic landmarks, like the Empire State Building to overlook this sprawling metropolis. Then, we will take a sightseeing cruise to the Statue of Liberty, followed by the Intrepid Sea, Air, and Space Museum, Wall Street, the New York Stock Exchange, the Charging Bull, Trinity Church, Times Square, Madame Tussauds Wax Museum, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, pass by Fifth Avenue, Rockefeller Center, the United Nations Headquarters, Ground Zero, and One World Trade Center.
Day 3:New York – Philadelphia – Washington DC (236 miles)
In the morning, guests will be picked up from the specified departure location in New York City. We will begin this tour by driving to Philadelphia, where we will visit National Independence Park to see the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall. Then, we will continue to the U.S. capital of Washington, D.C. to see the exteriors of the U.S. Capitol Building and the White House. We will also be able to visit the National Air and Space Museum, take a Potomac River Cruise, and see the Lincoln Memorial. Our tour will also pass by the Jefferson Memorial, the Vietnam War Memorial, the World War II Memorial, the Korean War Memorial, and the Bureau of Engraving and Painting. We will check into our hotel after dinner.
Day 4:Washington DC – Corning – Niagara Falls (429 miles)
Today, we will drive north to visit the Corning Glass Museum in Corning, NY. We will then continue to Niagara Falls, where we will take the famous Maid of the Mist boat ride (or Jet boat Ride), see the Niagara Falls Adventure Movie, and the Thundering Water Cultural Show. Afterwards, we will be able to choose either to stay in the Falls Park for self-exploration or embark on an in-depth tour that includes visits to Whirlpool State Park and Old Fort Niagara.
Day 5:Niagara Falls – Boston (467 miles)
Today, we will cross upstate New York on our way to Boston. Along the way, we will see magnificent views of the Erie Canal. When we arrive in Boston, we will tour the campuses of Harvard University and MIT, two of the most prestigious universities in the country. Later on, we will pass by Trinity Church, the Hancock Building, Boston Common, the Public Gardens, Boston Athenaeum, the Boston Public Library, and overlooking the golden dome of the Massachusetts State House.
Day 6:Boston – New York (215 miles)
In the morning, our fun will begin as we board a boat to take a Boston Harbor Cruise, followed by a trip to Quincy Market, where we can find a lot of food options. We shouldn’t miss our chance to try some famous New England clam chowder! In the afternoon, we will return to New York City. Our hotel for the night is a 5 minute walk to One World Trade Center, making it convenient to visit. In the evening, we should stroll down the west side of Manhattan for phenomenal views of the Hudson River!
Day 7:New York
Guests will be picked up from the hotel in the morning. Should they choose, guests can spend the day exploring New York at their own leisure. At the end of the day, they will be transferred to one of the local airports for their departure flights. Please see “Departure and Return” for more detailed information involving when to schedule flights.

Departure:
Courtesy airport (JFK, LGA, EWR) pick up between 9:00am and 10pm (Start from 4/1/2016, the free pick up time will change to 8:30am to 10:00pm).

Return : Please get ready and meet in the hotel before 2:30 PM and our tour guide will help to arrange your transport to the airport, book your flights after 07:00pm for JFK, LGA, EWR departure.

Airport pick up from JFK/LGA/EWR and drop off on the last day. Complimentary transfer (excluded service fee $8/per person) is available between 9:00am and 10:00pm (Start from 4/1/2016, time will change to between 8:30am and 10:00pm). If you would like to join the optional activities, please pay the fee in cash to the tour guide. You cannot buy / use the tickets on your own or use City Passes. The tour guide will arrange the tickets for the group.
All meals and drinks during the trip.
A mandatory service fees: Minimum $8 / day / person should be paid in cash to tour guide and the bus driver as a service fee. Any child / Infant reserving a seat will have to pay the service fees as well. Ex: 2 people taking a 2-day tour would pay: $8 x 2 (seats) x 2 (days) = $32.
Personal room fees: such as laundry or valet services, telephone calls, or alcoholic beverages/mini bar items, unless they are otherwise specified.

Additional Note
City passes are not accepted during an escorted tour due to the fact that they do not correspond into the tour schedule. The group entrance tickets provided by tour guides have fast lane and tour guides accompany passengers for activities.
Bus Arrangement: Usually only passengers in the same order will be arranged in the same bus. If you book the tour separately with your friends and you want to sit in the same bus, you need to inform us before departure . Or you may be arranged in different buses.

Customers are held solely responsible for their own travel documents and/or visas if required.

Each hotel room can accommodate no more than 4 guests (adults or children), and existing bedding must be used

All tours are escorted by professional bi- or multi-lingual tour and/or driver guides (English/Chinese). Depending on the number of passengers booked for a particular departure, tours and/or languages may be combined to operate the tours.

All purchases are subject to re-confirmation within 2-3 business days after booking. Please do not book the airline tickets until you received the confirmation.

  • Redemption

Complete operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, is included on your e-ticket. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

Booking changes
A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply. Please be noted that we do not allow departure change 48 hours before departure.
Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to Taketours by email or through web mail at Contact Us .
Tour Departure: This tour has 100% guaranteed departure; if the tour is cancelled there will be refund of 120%. Restrictions apply; due to weather conditions, State Emergencies, Airport Closures or anything beyond the control of the tour operator the 120% refund will NOT apply.
Cancellation penalties per person for tours last 5 or more days
Up to 46 days prior to departure – 10% of total purchase amount.
21-45 days prior to departure – 25% of total purchase amount.
8-20 days prior to departure – 50% of total purchase amount.
1-7 days prior to departure – 100% of total purchase amount.
Day of departure or no show – 100% per person.
Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
There is 6% handling fee add-on to the above penalties.
NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of tour.
Itinerary Variations
We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary – we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
Tour Cancellation:
We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, Taketours’ only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.
We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.
