Day 1:New York (37 miles)
Flights can be booked into any of the three major New York City area airports. Guests flying to EWR before 12:00 can either take our shuttle to the hotel for some rest or go shopping at the Jersey Gardens Mall. Those flying into LGA or JFK before 3:00pm will have the opportunity to tour Flushing, Queens. All who arrive before 4:30pm have the option of joining a Night Tour of the city. Shuttle service will be available from all airports. There will be an additional charge for those who arrive after 10:00pm. From 4/1/2016, there will add another two pick up place: Flushing and China Town. Flushing, NY This famous and historical New York neighborhood is best known for its flourishing Chinatown area, the second-largest in New York City and the most quickly growing. Today, it is even larger than the Chinatown in Manhattan.

Always Visit Jersey Gardens Mall For EWR in customers only. The mall is about a half-hour out of New York City, which makes it a good day trip for those touring New York. It is also close to Newark Airport, and its convenient location makes it popular with travellers.

Day 2:Tour Options: Atlantic City or New York City Free Day or West Point
Option 1: New York – Atlantic City – New York (258 miles)
Today we will take a trip to New Jersey to spend a day in the famous casino town of Atlantic City, NJ! Enjoy the gambling and partying of this seaside town. Please note that all guests must be 21 years of age or older in order to participate. We will return to New York for the night.

Option 2: New York
Pickup from your hotel in the morning, guests can spend the day as they see fit exploring New York, NY. They should return to our tour office to board the bus that will take them the hotel. There is also an optional night tour of the city for those who wish to see NYC at its brightest!

Option 3: New York – West Point – Woodbury – New York (127 miles)
Today we will drive north of the city. Our first stop will be the famous military academy, West Point, in the town of West Point, NY. Here, we will learn about the Unites States’ military history. From there, we will make our way to Woodbury Commons Premium Outlets in Woodbury, NY for some bargain shopping. At the end of the day, we will return to the New York City area to spend the night.

West Point Military Academy This famous military academy not far from New York City was established in 1802, making it the oldest in the country. In addition to the school, it is also home of the US military’s oldest museum.

Always Visit Woodbury Common Premium Outlets The Woodbury Commons Premium Outlets in Central Valley, New York offers designer wares at bargain prices. Stores at the outdoor complex include Coach, DKNY, Giorgio Armani, Gucci, Salvatore Ferragamo, Max Mara, LeSportsac, Nike, Polo Ralph Lauren, Versace, and Williams-Sonoma.
Day 3:New York (226 miles)
Today, we will spend the day touring New York City, visiting some of this city’s most iconic landmarks, like the Empire State Building to overlook this sprawling metropolis. Then, we will take a sightseeing cruise to the Statue of Liberty, followed by the Intrepid Sea, Air, and Space Museum, Wall Street, the New York Stock Exchange, the Charging Bull, Trinity Church, Times Square, Madame Tussauds Wax Museum (start from 4/1/2016, according to the traffic condition in New York, we may visit the wax museum in Washington D.C. instead of New York Madame Tussauds), the Metropolitan Museum of Art, pass by Fifth Avenue, Rockefeller Center, the United Nations Headquarters, Ground Zero, and One World Trade Center.

Day 4:New York – Philadelphia – Washington DC (233 miles)
Today we will drive to Philadelphia, PA, the birthplace of the United States. Here, we will visit National Independence Park, which is home to the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall. From there, we will continue onto Washington, DC, where we will see the US Capitol, the White House, the Lincoln Memorial, and much more. Guests will also be able to visit the National Air and Space Museum or the National Museum of Natural History. We will spend the night in the DC area.

Liberty Bell The famously cracked Liberty Bell is a sign of American Independence and spirit. Located at Liberty Bell Center in Philadelphia, PA, this symbol of the American Revolution was crafted in 1752– more than 250 years ago.

Always Visit Lincoln Memorial This iconic American monument honors the 16th president of the United States. Abraham Lincoln was president during the American Civil War, and is most famous for the Emancipation Proclamation that freed all of the slaves in the US.
Day 5:Washington D.C. – Corning – Niagara Falls (429 miles)
We will head north to visit the Corning Glass Museum in Corning, NY. We will then continue on to Niagara Falls, NY where we will take the famous Maid of the Mist boat ride (closed in winter), see the Adventure Movie and Thundering Water Cultural Show. Guests can then choose either to stay in the Falls Park for self-exploration or have an in-depth tour that includes visits to the Whirlpool State Park and Old Fort Niagara.

Always Visit Corning Museum of Glass This museum in western New York is dedicated to the history, art, and science behind glassmaking. Its collection contains more than 45,000 objects, some of which date back millennia. It was founded in 1951 and sees 400,000 visitors annually.

Closed during winter Maid of the Mist This famous boat ride gets passengers up close and personal with the Niagara Falls! The Maid rides right into the mists thrown up by the roaring cascade as the Niagara River tumbles over the edge of the falls.
Day 6:Niagara Falls – Boston (467 miles)
Today, we will cross upstate New York on our way to Boston. Along the way, we will see magnificent views of the Erie Canal. When we arrive in Boston, we will tour the campuses of Harvard University and MIT, two of the most prestigious universities in the country. Later on, we will pass by Trinity Church, the Hancock Building, Boston Common, the Public Gardens, Boston Athenaeum, the Boston Public Library, and overlooking the golden dome of the Massachusetts State House.

Day 7:Boston – New York (215 miles)
Before leaving Boston, we will take a Harbor Cruise and have lunch at Quincy Market. After, guests may choose to either fly out of Boston or head back to New York and be dropped off at the airports there. See “Departure and Return” for more detailed information regarding when to book flights.

Always Visit Quincy Market Quincy Market in the Faneuil Hall marketplace of downtown Boston is a historic building that still serves as a souvenir marketplace and food court today. The area has expanded to include two other marketplace buildings as well.

Prices are subject to change without prior notice. If you would like to join the optional activities, please pay the fee in cash to the tour guide. You cannot buy / use the tickets on your own or use City Passes. The tour guide will arrange the tickets for the group. All meals and drinks during the trip. A mandatory service fees: Minimum $8 / day / person should be paid in cash to tour guide and the bus driver as a service fee. Any child / Infant reserving a seat will have to pay the service fees as well. Ex: 2 people taking a 2-day tour would pay: $8 x 2 (seats) x 2 (days) = $32.
Personal room fees: such as laundry or valet services, telephone calls, or alcoholic beverages/mini bar items, unless they are otherwise specified. Any private expenses
Additional Note
City passes are not accepted during an escorted tour due to the fact that they do not correspond into the tour schedule. The group entrance tickets provided by tour guides have fast lane and tour guides accompany passengers for activities.
Bus Arrangement: Usually only passengers in the same order will be arranged in the same bus. If you book the tour separately with your friends and you want to sit in the same bus, you need to inform us before departure . Or you may be arranged in different buses.

Your ticket(s) will be confirmed at the time of booking. Please allow up to 8 hours to receive the confirmation. Your booking will be processed as soon as possible.

  • Redemption

Complete operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, is included on your e-ticket. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

Booking changes
A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply. Please be noted that we do not allow departure change 48 hours before departure.
Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to Taketours by email or through web mail at Contact Us .
Tour Departure: This tour has 100% guaranteed departure; if the tour is cancelled there will be refund of 120%. Restrictions apply; due to weather conditions, State Emergencies, Airport Closures or anything beyond the control of the tour operator the 120% refund will NOT apply.
Cancellation penalties per person for tours last 5 or more days
Up to 46 days prior to departure – 10% of total purchase amount.
21-45 days prior to departure – 25% of total purchase amount.
8-20 days prior to departure – 50% of total purchase amount.
1-7 days prior to departure – 100% of total purchase amount.
Day of departure or no show – 100% per person.
Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
There is 6% handling fee add-on to the above penalties.
NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of tour.
Itinerary Variations
We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary – we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
Tour Cancellation:
We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, Taketours’ only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.
We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.
