Itinerary
Day 1:New York (14 miles)
Today, guests will arrive at one of the there major airports in the New York City Area (JFK, LGA, EWR), where they will be met by a tour guide at the baggage claim (from 4/1/2016, there will add another two pick up place: Flushing and China Town). There is a complimentary shuttle service from the airport to the hotel. Guests who arrive at JFK or LGA before 3:00pm have the option of joining a tour in Flushing, Queens. Those arriving at EWR before 12:00 can go to the Jersey Garden Outlets Mall for an additional $10. All who arrive before 4:30pm can join an optional Night Tour of the city. Flushing, NY This famous and historical New York neighborhood is best known for its flourishing Chinatown area, the second-largest in New York City and the most quickly growing. Today, it is even larger than the Chinatown in Manhattan.
Day 2:New York – Princeton – Philadelphia – Amish – Washington DC (293 miles)
In the morning we will visit Princeton, NJ and the campus of the prestigious Ivy League school, Princeton University. Next, we will depart for historic Philadelphia, PA to visit National Independence Park, where we will see Congress Hall and the famous Liberty Bell. We will take the most incredible tour in Philadelphia by riding a duck boat if possible. Overnight in Washington, DC.
If the time premit, we will journey to Lancaster, PA, the heart of Amish Country. Here, we will visit the Amish Farm and House to learn about this unique culture that shuns modern technology.
Day 3:Washington DC
We will spend the the day touring Washington, DC. Our first stop of the day will be the US Capitol (If the Capitol Hill is closed due to certain factors, we will only visit it from outside). Sunday will be closed. Though the White House is closed to visitors, we will still be able to take photographs of its exterior. Highlights of the tour include an optional Potomac River Cruise and visits to all of the major monuments, such as the Lincoln Memorial, Vietnam War Memorial, and Korean War Memorial. We will also delight in visits to the National Air and Space Museum and Madame Tussaude Wax Museum.
Day 4:Washington D.C. – Corning – Niagara Falls (429 miles)
We will head north to visit the Corning Glass Museum in Corning, NY. We will then continue on to Niagara Falls, NY where we will take the famous Maid of the Mist boat ride (closed in winter), see the Adventure Movie and Thundering Water Cultural Show. Guests can then choose either to stay in the Falls Park for self-exploration or have an in-depth tour that includes visits to the Whirlpool State Park and Old Fort Niagara.
Day 5:Niagara Falls – Boston (467 miles)
Driving along the Erie Canal in upstate New York, we will continue our journey to Boston, MA. Here, we will tour the campuses of Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. After that, we will pass Trinity Church, the Hancock Building, Boston Common, the Public Gardens, the Boston Athenaeum, while overlooking the golden dome of the Massachusetts State House. In the evening, we will enjoy a delicious Lobster Dinner.
Day 6:Boston – New York (214 miles)
Our morning will be spent seeing Boston. We will take a Cruise of Boston Harbor, which will offer us amazing and unique views from the historic Massachusetts Bay. After, we will head to Quincy Market for lunch and a little shopping around. At the end of our tour, we will board the bus and make the drive to the New York City area for the night.
Day 7:New York (226 miles)
Today we will spend the day touring New York City, making stops at the Empire State Building. Guests will take a sightseeing cruise tour on the Hudson River, take pictures with the backdrops of Statue of Liberty and Brooklyn Bridge. Furthermore, visit USS Intrepid Sea-Air-Space Museum. In addition, wandering around Wall Street, taking pictures with Trinity Church, New York Stock Exchange and its signature sculpture Charging Bull. If time permit, we will visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Times Square and Madame Tussauds Wax Museum (According to the traffic condition in New York, we may visit the wax museum in Washington D.C. instead of New York Madame Tussauds). In the end of the day, our tour bus will pass by the Fifth Avenue, Rockefeller Center, Ground Zero and so on. Afterwards, guests will be dropped off at the airport to end this tour. Airport pick up from JFK/LGA/EWR and drop off on the last day. If you would like to join the optional activities, please pay the fee in cash to the tour guide. You cannot buy / use the tickets on your own or use City Passes. The tour guide will arrange the tickets for the group.
All meals and drinks during the trip.
A mandatory service fees: Minimum $8 / day / person should be paid in cash to tour guide and the bus driver as a service fee. Any child / Infant reserving a seat will have to pay the service fees as well. Ex: 2 people taking a 2-day tour would pay: $8 x 2 (seats) x 2 (days) = $32.
Personal room fees: such as laundry or valet services, telephone calls, or alcoholic beverages/mini bar items, unless they are otherwise specified.

Additional Note
City passes are not accepted during an escorted tour due to the fact that they do not correspond into the tour schedule. The group entrance tickets provided by tour guides have fast lane and tour guides accompany passengers for activities.
Bus Arrangement: Usually only passengers in the same order will be arranged in the same bus. If you book the tour separately with your friends and you want to sit in the same bus, you need to inform us before departure . Or you may be arranged in different buses.

Customers are held solely responsible for their own travel documents and/or visas if required.

Your ticket(s) will be confirmed at the time of booking. Please allow up to 8 hours to receive the confirmation. Your booking will be processed as soon as possible.

  • Redemption

Complete operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, is included on your e-ticket. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

Booking changes
A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply. Please be noted that we do not allow departure change 48 hours before departure.
Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to Taketours by email or through web mail at Contact Us .
Tour Departure: This tour has 100% guaranteed departure; if the tour is cancelled there will be refund of 120%. Restrictions apply; due to weather conditions, State Emergencies, Airport Closures or anything beyond the control of the tour operator the 120% refund will NOT apply.
Cancellation penalties per person for tours last 5 or more days
Up to 46 days prior to departure – 10% of total purchase amount.
21-45 days prior to departure – 25% of total purchase amount.
8-20 days prior to departure – 50% of total purchase amount.
1-7 days prior to departure – 100% of total purchase amount.
Day of departure or no show – 100% per person.
Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
There is 6% handling fee add-on to the above penalties.
NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of tour.
Itinerary Variations
We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary – we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
Tour Cancellation:
We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, Taketours’ only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.
We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.
