Itinerary

Day 1:New York (37 miles)
Flights can be booked into any of the three major New York City area airports. Guests flying to EWR before 12:00 can either take our shuttle to the hotel for some rest or go shopping at the Jersey Gardens Mall. Those flying into LGA or JFK before 3:00pm will have the opportunity to tour Flushing, Queens. All who arrive before 4:30pm have the option of joining a Night Tour of the city. Shuttle service will be available from all airports. There will be an additional charge for those who arrive after 10:00pm.
From 4/1/2016, there will add another two pick up place: Flushing and China Town.
Day 2:New York (226 miles)
Today, we will spend the day touring New York City, visiting some of this city’s most iconic landmarks, like the Empire State Building to overlook this sprawling metropolis. Then, we will take a sightseeing cruise to the Statue of Liberty, followed by the Intrepid Sea, Air, and Space Museum, Wall Street, the New York Stock Exchange, the Charging Bull, Trinity Church, Times Square, Madame Tussauds Wax Museum (start from 4/1/2016, according to the traffic condition in New York, we may visit the wax museum in Washington D.C. instead of New York Madame Tussauds), the Metropolitan Museum of Art, pass by Fifth Avenue, Rockefeller Center, the United Nations Headquarters, Ground Zero, and One World Trade Center.
Day 3:New York – Philadelphia – Washington DC (233 miles)
Today we will drive to Philadelphia, PA, the birthplace of the United States. Here, we will visit National Independence Park, which is home to the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall. From there, we will continue onto Washington, DC, where we will see the US Capitol, the White House, the Lincoln Memorial, and much more. Guests will also be able to visit the National Air and Space Museum or the National Museum of Natural History. We will spend the night in the DC area.
Day 4:Washington D.C. – Corning – Niagara Falls (429 miles)
Today, we will head north to visit the Corning Museum of Glass in Corning, NY. We will then continue to Niagara Falls, where we will ride the famous Maid of the Mist cruise, although this will be closed in the winter. We will also see the Adventure IMAX. If there is time, we can also take an impressive Jet Boat ride on the Niagara River. After that, we can choose to either explore the area on our own or take an in-depth tour that visits Whirlpool State Park and Old Fort Niagara. At dusk, we will see the exciting Thundering Water Cultural Show.
Day 5:Niagara Falls – Boston (467 miles)
Today, we will cross upstate New York on our way to Boston. Along the way, we will see magnificent views of the Erie Canal. When we arrive in Boston, we will tour the campuses of Harvard University and MIT, two of the most prestigious universities in the country. Later on, we will pass by Trinity Church, the Hancock Building, Boston Common, the Public Gardens, Boston Athenaeum, the Boston Public Library, and overlooking the golden dome of the Massachusetts State House.
Day 6:Boston – Miami (1496 miles)
In the morning, we will shop at Quincy Market and go on a Boston Harbor Cruise. Afterwards, we will transfer to the airport for our flight to Miami. Once you arrive at Miami, our tour guide will greet you at the airport and bring you to the hotel. Night tour is available with at least 2 enrolled guests of arrival before 6PM.
Day 7:Miami – Everglades National Park – Coral Gabels – Miami (121 miles)
Our first stop of the day will be at the Everglades National Park, where we will take an Airboat Ride, allowing us to reach otherwise inaccessible areas of these swamplands. We will return to Miami in the afternoon, making our way through Coral Gables before seeing the famous Biltmore Hotel and exploring the neighborhood of Little Havana. We will also be able to take an optional cruise of Biscayne Bay to see some of the wealthiest homes in the area. Our last stop of the day will be a visit to the famous Art Deco District to see colorful Spanish architecture and the former residence of Italian fashion designer Versace.
Day 8:Miami – Key West – Miami (329 miles)
Today we will tour the city of Key West, FL. This island in the Florida Keys is the southernmost city in the continental United States. It is loved by tourists internationally for its idyllic Caribbean waters, warm and cozy weather, and stretches of white beaches. To get there, we must cross the Seven Mile Bridge. We will have the chance to visit Ernest Hemingway’s House, who was very fond of this area. Then we’ll shop for souvenirs on Duval Street and the Marina Marketplace. We will leave Key West at about 5:00pm and return to Miami for the night.
Day 9:Fort Lauderdale – Palm Beach – Miami (74 miles)
In the morning, we will spend some time in Fort Lauderdale, FL. From there, we will head to Palm Beach, FL, where we will visit the Henry Flagler Museum (outside) and stroll down famous Worth Avenue. We will also take a visit of Lion Country Safari to explore the wild world. At the end of the day, guests will be transferred to the Miami airport for flights home.

Airport pick up (excluded service fee $8/per person) from JFK/LGA/EWR. Complimentary transfer is available between 8:30 and 10:00pm. Outside this time, guests will be charged $120 (first 1-2 guests) and $10 for each additional guest.

City passes are not accepted during an escorted tour due to the fact that they do not correspond to the tour schedule. The group entrance tickets provided by tour guides have fast lane and tour guides will accompany passengers for activities.
Bus Arrangement: Usually only passengers on the same order will be arranged in the same bus. If you book the tour separately with your friends and you want to sit in the same bus, you need to inform us before departure . Or you may be arranged in different buses.

Complete operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, is included on your e-ticket. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

Booking changes
A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply. Please be noted that we do not allow departure change 48 hours before departure.
Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to Taketours by email or through web mail at Contact Us .
Tour Departure: This tour has 100% guaranteed departure; if the tour is cancelled there will be refund of 120%. Restrictions apply; due to weather conditions, State Emergencies, Airport Closures or anything beyond the control of the tour operator the 120% refund will NOT apply.
Cancellation penalties per person for tours last 5 or more days
Up to 46 days prior to departure – 10% of total purchase amount.
21-45 days prior to departure – 25% of total purchase amount.
8-20 days prior to departure – 50% of total purchase amount.
1-7 days prior to departure – 100% of total purchase amount.
Day of departure or no show – 100% per person.
Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
There is 6% handling fee add-on to the above penalties.
NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of tour.
Itinerary Variations
We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary – we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
Tour Cancellation:
We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, Taketours’ only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.
We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.
